Outreach Requests
Thank you for your interest in the Counseling Center outreach opportunities. We are eager to partner with and support you in providing mental wellness services to the Georgia College community. We provide outreach programs, training, and interviews on a variety of psycho-educational topics. Some examples are:
- Stress Management
- Time Management
- Counseling Services Overview
- Self-Care
- Suicide Awareness
- Assertiveness
- Other topics can be arranged by request.
Please complete the Outreach Request Form to request any of our programs or individual interview. We will make every effort to fulfill your request but there may be times when our availability is limited during peak demand for counseling services; especially during mid-terms and finals. To increase our ability to respond to your request, please allow 3-weeks notice when requesting a program or training. Our outreach programs are in person, and we also offer them virtually upon request. You will need to chose your preference on the form.

We are immediately available to the campus community in cases of unexpected events that call for our support to students, faculty, and staff. In those cases, please contact the Counseling Center directly at 478-445-5331.
Interview Requests
If you would like to interview one of our counselors regarding mental health related topics, you may complete the Interview Request Form to make your request. We will make every effort to fulfill your request but there may be times when our availability is limited during peak demand for counseling services; especially near mid-terms and finals . To increase our ability to respond to your request, please allow 1 week notice when requesting an interview. Submission of this form does not guarantee approval of an interview.
